Back in 2023, Redbubble announced a “fee structure”.
Long story short — this change almost HALVED my Redbubble earnings.
But now…
More fees!
Redbubble will be updating the account fee structure that is charged to Redbubble Standard accounts.
“This will include a fee increase of less than $1 for most artists.”
Fees will depend on the number of sales you make. Here is their fee table:
So if you’re earning let’s say $100 on Redbubble, they’ll take $34 away from you, leaving you with $66. Lovely.
Does it still make sense to sell on Redbubble?
Honestly, I don’t know.
I’ve been uploading some designs on Redbubble now and then in the past year, but not that much. My sales numbers have been going down for a long time, and to me it’s simply not worth the time I invest in it.
So, what to do?
Personally, I’m focusing on Etsy and Shopify.
For the past months, I’ve been experimenting with Shopify, Facebook ads & TikTok ads.

And I’ve noticed that — even though it’s not easy — if your products are cool & unique enough, you can still sell them at a nice profit!
Publishing on Etsy has never been easier!
Today I saw a video of my teacher “Ryan Hogue”, where he explains how easy it has become to use MyDesigns software to publish to Etsy.
In literally less than 13 minutes, he publishes 13 designs to Etsy, completely optimized with SEO, mockups, video mockups, descriptions, tags and everything.
I had used myDesigns in the past, but recently they added some CRAZY good features that made me jump to it immediately.
Back to Redbubble:
I forgot to mention — Premium and Pro accounts remain exempt from the fee.
So if you’re serious about keeping publishing on Redbubble, you might want to try and increase your account Premium or Pro.
