Print on Demand Sellers — Get Ready for a HUGE Boom in Q4 Sales!

Just like every year, there are 4 quarters.

And for those of you who are new in this Print on Demand / eCommerce world, let me tell you a secret:

Q4 is always HUGE in online sales!

Why? Well, mainly Christmas period. And a lot of public holidays.

Start preparing already!

No, it’s not too early.

Why not? Well because everything takes time.

  • You need to do research (what do you want to sell?)
  • You need to create designs
  • You need to create mockups
  • You need to upload & push your merchandise
  • It all needs to get indexed by de web platforms
  • You need to upload A LOT of stuff
  • You need to upload lots of variations (different colors, texts…)
  • Etc.

It’s better to be early than it is to be late, right?

If you still need to get started in November, it’s going to be too late.

  • You won’t have that many products uploaded
  • Your products might not be ranked high (because ranking high requires sales, reviews etc).

You’ll miss out on a ton of sales!

Let’s try to avoid this.

Our next steps

So very concrete, let me explain what I’m going to do.

Step 1: I’m going to check which upcoming ‘special days’ there are.

For this, I use PodCS.com. This feature is free.

Based on this I get some inspiration for topics/trends.

This is the information you can find via e.g. EverbeeAluraPODCSeRank and more. Whichever you prefer. I’ll now use Everbee.

Let’s take for example “Halloween” (because that’s coming too).

Next, I hop over to Everbee.io, and enter “Halloween”.

Side note: it basically doesn’t matter what you sell, as long as it generates sales and if there’s a search volume for it, it’s okay.

And that is exactly what Everbee shows you:

In the screenshot above, there are a few filters configured to show only successful, recent Etsy listings.

Just look at this 3rd result:

If I search on Etsy, I can see there’s quite a lot of competition. I can use all of this for inspiration:

My next step is to use this listing as an inspiration, but make it better, tweak it, add my own thing to it.

For this, I use “the best Print on Demand Tool ever created”.

Using Dream AI, I can generate an image in seconds:

Next I need to remove the background, place it on a sweatshirt, create mockups and publish it to Etsy (or even Shopify).

Since I’ve created multiple MyDesigns Tutorials already, I won’t go over all this here again.

Next is to give titles, keywords, SEO etc etc. But you can find all that via Everbee on your example listing + MyDesigns has an amazing AI tool that can do this for you as well.

P.S. Don’t forget to make variations (other images, other texts, other colors)…

Make data informed decisions!

As you can see, in order to become a successful Etsy seller, you need to use data to make informed decisions.

The ability to spy on your competition, understand what’s working for them, and apply those lessons to your own shop is so, so important!

Why This Q4 is the Perfect Time to Step Up Your Game

Let’s face it, Q4 is huge. Holiday shopping, election year — it all adds up to a massive opportunity for print-on-demand (POD) sellers.

But how do you make sure you’re in the game and not buried on page 5 of search results?

Maybe you have already published a ton of listings, but they’re just not performing? There can be a lot of reasons:

  • They might not be SEO optimized
  • They might need better mockups
