The exact tools, supplements, and daily rituals I use to optimize energy, longevity, and performance
I’ve been obsessed with optimizing my body and mind for over 15 years.

Along the way, I’ve discovered not just habits — but tools, gadgets, and high-quality products that help me stay young, energized, and healthy every day.
Below are the 20 “luxury” items I personally use daily (or some weekly).
I explain why I use them and which benefits they bring.
Sneak peak; most common benefits are:
- Sleep improvement
- Skin enhancement
- More energy
- Focus & clarity
- Better & faster recovery after sports
- Performance boost
- …
1. 10,000-Lux Daylight Lamp ($45)
I live in Belgium.
In the winter months here, it’s dark.
It’s dark when I wake up around 6–7 AM, and it’s already dark again at 5 PM.
In the summer I would wake up with the sunlight through my window, but during the winter this isn’t an option.
So, I got myself this lamp:

It simulates sunlight and tells our brain to “WAKE UP!”
That signal alone boosts my energy, my mood, and my circadian rhythm — without caffeine.
I’m now looking to upgrade and buy an other (larger) one as well. I’m currently checking this one: OYADISIIOP LIGHT THERAPY LAMP.

It looks really nice and reviews are good as well, so I think I’ll give it a chance.
Seriously, these things are like sunlight in a box when it’s dark or grey outside.
Truly a must-have.
2. Medik8 C-Tetra Day Cream (Vitamin C Moisturizer) ($55)
After waking up, my ritual (generally) looks as follows:
- I go to my living room and do a few exercises (10 mins)
- I have breakfast
- I go to the bathroom, wash my face (or take a shower)
- Then brush my teeth and put my face cream.
The face cream I use, is the following: Medik8 C-Tetra Day Cream

Why this cream? Why this brand?
- Medik8 is a very, very good brand, used by many skincare professionals.
- Medik8’s approach is science-driven, results-focused, ethical, and sustainable. No bullshit.
- It contains Vitamin C, which is one of the most powerful antioxidants you can give your skin.
- It contains hyaluronic acid, which enhances hydration and gives me a smooth and supple skin.
3. Relief Sun Organic Mineral Sunscreen
When I said above that sun is good — TOO MUCH sun IS NOT!
Sun (UV) exposure is one of the biggest aging accelerators.
Compare it to baking something in the oven.
When you just put it in, it looks fresh. But then it starts getting red. Brown. Burned. Black.
Right?
The sun is the same. It really destroys your skin if you expose it too much.
So, every morning, I put on a little but of sun screen — even when it’s cloudy.
I use this one: Relief Sun Organic Mineral Sunscreen

It’s a really nice Korean sunscreen product, that protects without clogging pores.
It also doesn’t leave that white cast.
And most importantly: it makes sure I’m not undoing all my other work by “frying my skin”.
4. NEEDLY — Crossbarrier Toner ($21)
Every time you wash your face — morning or evening — you don’t just remove dirt, oil, and pollution.
You also strip away your skin’s natural pH balance.
And what is removed, needs to be restored.
For this, I use the NEEDLY Crossbarrier Toner.
It helps restore that pH, calms and repairs the skin barrier after cleansing.

It doesn’t only restore the pH, it also preps my skin so the serums that come next — actually get absorbed better.
It feels refreshing, tightens pores, and leaves my face feeling clean and ready for the next layer.
A small step, but you really notice the difference!
5. Timeless Matrixyl 3000 Serum ($69)
After the toner, I use this peptide serum (MOSTLY in the evenings).
It helps with the elasticity and smoothness of my skin.
It’s basically collagen (=elasticity substance) support in a bottle.

If you want younger-looking skin, this is one of the best daily boosters out there.
It’s not cheap, but it’s definitely worth the money.
6. Medik8 Advanced Night Cream ($76)
I don’t always use the Timeless serum, I DO ALWAYS use this Medik8 Night Cream.

Why is this a must-have & must-use?
Because your skin does its deepest repair at night.
And this cream BOOSTS that repair process, by providing extra moisture, calming the skin, and strengthening the skin barrier — without feeling heavy or greasy.
Result: You wake up with visibly healthier skin.
It makes a HUGE difference.
7. LED Red-Light Therapy Mask ($470)
This one is real fancy.
Let me explain you how it works:
The Red Light LEDs deliver a specific light, which penetrates the skin to energize cells.
Because the cells are “energized”, they become better at natural repair and rejuvenation!
And no, it doesn’t hurt. It also doesn’t get hot.

Here some more scientific benefits:
- It stimulates collagen production, to reduce signs of aging.
- It helps improve skin texture and radiance.
Important: You need to use it for many weeks, to see improvements over time.

Results are gradual and require routine use.
8. FIT KING Recovery Compression Boots ($500)
After a heavy workout or long day on my feet, these boots save my life.
They help flush out waste, reduce swelling and help with recovery.

Here I was, this morning — after playing 3 hours of Padel:

Seriously, the recovery I get on my legs — is next level.
My muscles thank me every single time.
Without this, I wouldn’t be able to do so much sports, or even play every day.
